I purchased a Seaward Halo kayak which I consider expensive costing 1000$. The kayak was damaged during shipping.

I know this because Seller provided pictures before shipping. Shipping cost for the kayak was $99. ESTES would not take responsibility for the damage. The kayak was cracked in two places and not useable/fixable.

The driver was in a hurry. There was no obvious damage to wrapping so we let him go. When we unwrapped the kayak it was ruined. Even though packaging indicated Fragile it was obviously handled with anything but care.

The kayak was absolutely beautiful except for the fact it has cracks in it and would sink once in the water. ESTES would not take responsibility. My advice is if you need to use this company be sure to unwrap and inspect product before letting the driver go. It took two people 1/2 hour to unwrap the kayak.
